Forkr makes it incredibly easy to save recipes from TikTok videos. Whether the recipe is in the video itself, the caption, or the description, Forkr's AI will extract all the details you need. Here's how to do it in just a few taps.
Tap the Share Button
Browse TikTok and find a recipe video you'd like to save. When you're ready to save it, tap the Share button (the arrow icon pointing right) located on the right side of the screen.

Select "More"
In the "Send to" menu that appears, tap the More button (the blue button with three dots at the end of the row). This will open your device's share sheet with all available apps.

Choose Forkr
From the list of apps, select Forkr. The recipe will be automatically extracted and saved to your cookbook. Forkr's AI will intelligently parse the post content, extract ingredients, instructions, and even calculate nutrition information.

Tips for Best Results
- Caption Recipes Work Best: Forkr extracts recipes most accurately when they're written in the post caption.
- Video Recipes: For Reels and video posts, Forkr can extract recipes from on-screen text and audio narration.
- Check the Source: After extraction, you can always view the original TikTok post by tapping the source link in Forkr.
- Edit if Needed: If something doesn't look quite right, you can easily edit any part of the recipe in Forkr.
Recipe didn't extract correctly? Make sure the TikTok post actually contains recipe information in the caption or video. Some posts may just be photos without recipe details.
Forkr opens but nothing happens? Check that you have a stable internet connection and that Forkr has the necessary permissions enabled in your phone's settings.
